Our mission is to unite members and the community through collaboration and a shared sense of purpose. Together, we strive to foster charitable and educational initiatives that create lasting positive change and enhance the well-being of the citizens of Punta Gorda and its surrounding areas, while inspiring others to join us in making a difference.
The Blue Zones Walk is more than just a stroll—it's a movement that inspires our community to embrace healthier, longer lives. Rooted in the principles of the Blue Zones, areas in the world where people live exceptionally long and fulfilling lives, this event promotes physical activity, connection, and mindfulness.
The Women's Club stands as a proud pillar of heritage and service, rooted in a tradition of uplifting our community, from supporting education to organizing events, and honoring our veterans with initiatives like "Feed the Veterans," the club continues to be a beacon of unity and purpose.
Through the generosity of contributions received, we embrace the philosophy of paying it forward by turning kindness into action. Every donation fuels initiatives that uplift, empower, and transform lives within our community and beyond.
Each month, we shine the spotlight on one of our amazing members, celebrating their unique contributions and stories. Learn about their interests, hobbies, and experiences, and discover how they inspire connections and strengthen the bonds within our community.
Our volunteers embody the heart and soul of our mission. Their dedication and hard work create ripples of positive change that transform lives and strengthen our community, reminding us that collective efforts can achieve extraordinary results.
We are deeply committed to supporting female students who qualify for scholarship funding because we firmly believe in the transformative power of education and equality. Scholarships is not only a meaningful gesture of support but also a significant step toward empowering the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers. By investing in these bright minds, we are sowing the seeds of progress that will shape a brighter future.
Here, we celebrate the power of compassion and action as we come together to support the abused women's shelter in Port Charlotte, FL. Through the CARE program, we're dedicated to bringing warmth, comfort, and hope to survivors of abuse. Explore how you can join us in making a meaningful impact—whether it's through donations, volunteering, or spreading the word. Together, we can create a brighter, safer future for those in need.
Fundraisers allow us to take impactful action, address pressing needs, and create programs that uplift lives, all while fostering a sense of shared purpose and connection. They strengthen community bonds, inspire collective action, and enable meaningful, long-lasting change for everyone involved. It's a testament to the generosity, resilience, and boundless compassion of our community and makes a lasting difference for generations to come.

Education & Libraries. We aim to help others, while we also continue to learn. Projects in the Education and Libraries Community Service Program are designed to foster schools, as well as other educational institutions and opportunities. Environment. The GFWC Environment Community Service Program encourages us to become stewards of the earth by working to preserve the world’s resources, protect wildlife and domesticated animals, live sustainably, and beautify our communities and enjoy nature. Environmental degradation is cumulative, and many scientists warn that we are at a tipping point. There is no time like the present to act.
Health and Wellness. The human body, mind, and spirit comprise our health and wellness. To improve our wellbeing, we must address three key components: nutrition, disease prevention, and physical and emotional care. This Community Service Program aims to explore the various opportunities for awareness and advancement of each of these vital areas.
