A Special Thank You from Our Club President
On behalf of all 100 members of GFWC PGWC, a BIG THANK YOU to Cathy Evans and Jody Henkel and their tireless committee for the fabulous Sparkle & Sip fundraiser held last night at “A Touch of Vermont” in Punta Gorda. From the warm committee welcome at the door with a gift bag to the sparkling bespoke decor, this was a One-of-a-Kind event enjoyed by all!!!
A special thank you to the smiling, attentive bartenders (Cathy & Jody’s husbands, Glenn and Tim). Buffet foods and drinks, jewelry and clothes shopping, raffle baskets, silent auction, heads and tails…it was all so much fun for all attendees.
Jody Henkel gave a splendid tribute to all Veterans at Veteran’s Village in Punta Gorda that PGWC has helped for many years. All attendees stood with hands on hearts and sang The Star-Spangled Banner, a moving experience. Thank you, Cathy and Jody!
